Lucky Souvannarath - Philosophical Chair (Sorry for the late post!)
Students love to argue with one another. So use that negative energy for educational purposes! Provided below are resources I've used for my Philosophical Chair while I taught my unit over influence. The students were to hold a discussion on whether Miley Cyrus can be considered a good influence or a bad, with three different points of discussion to cover. The PowerPoint will take you through the expectations and overall layout of how the lesson should go. The worksheet provided is a great way to ensure that students remained on track with material to discuss at all times.
